Koi Pond Viewing Window: A Project Photo Study

Rectangular pond viewing window in a brick-faced wall, showing koi below the water

This photo study looks at a koi pond image from the Fusion Glass gallery. A broad viewing window reveals the fish below the water, adding a second way to enjoy the pond alongside the view from above.

Design focus: a view below the surface

The photo shows a rectangular glass panel set into a brick-faced pond wall. Koi can be seen side-on through the window, bringing the underwater part of the pond into view from the adjacent space.

Glazing shown

The main viewing panel sits below the waterline, with brickwork framing the opening. Glass guards are also visible around parts of the upper pond edge. The photograph shows the layout rather than a glass-thickness specification.

The finished result

The window creates an aquarium-like view of the fish while the pond remains open to view from above. Its wide shape gives the glass a strong visual presence within the surrounding brickwork.
