• Use the shortest measurement and allow for a 2mm expansion gap on all sides where the splashback meets a surface. This prevents cracking due to heat expansion.

• For socket cutouts, measure from the base and side while factoring in the 2mm expansion gap.

• Use spacers during installation to position the splashback correctly. Remove them after sealing the edges with a suitable sealant.
