How Much Does Pond Window Glass Cost? A Calculator Guide

Planning a pond viewing window starts with two different questions: which glass specification is suitable, and what will the finished panel cost? Our pond window price calculator helps with the price once you have the proposed panel dimensions and thickness. It shows VAT-inclusive glass prices and checks delivery using your postcode.

What affects the price of pond window glass?

The main inputs are glass thickness, panel width, panel height and the number of physical panels. The calculator covers 21.5mm, 25.5mm, 33mm and 39mm pond window glass. Each panel is priced separately, so an order containing two panels is not treated as one larger sheet.

A minimum charge of £160 plus VAT applies to each panel, equivalent to £192 including VAT at 20%. The minimum charged area is 0.5 square metres per panel. For a smaller panel, reducing the dimensions may therefore leave the price unchanged.

How to use the pond window calculator

Enter the required finished glass width and height in millimetres, then select the specified thickness. Choose the quantity of identical panels and enter the full delivery postcode. Review the price, read the delivery requirements and accept them before adding the selection to your basket.

For different panel sizes, add the first panel or group of identical panels, then change the dimensions and add the next selection. Review all sizes, thicknesses and quantities in the basket before checkout. Delivery is charged once for the order and confirmed using the checkout address.

A worked price example

At the time of writing, one 2000mm × 600mm panel in 25.5mm glass is £360 including VAT: £300 for the glass plus £60 VAT. This is a pricing example, not confirmation that the panel is suitable for a particular pond. Delivery depends on the destination, so use the calculator for the current price and enter your own postcode.

Choose the glass specification before ordering

Water depth, panel span, edge support, frame design and installation method all matter when specifying pond glass. A price calculation does not check these conditions and must not be treated as a structural design or a thickness recommendation.

Measure the finished glass, not just the opening

Confirm the final glass dimensions with your installer before entering them. The wall opening, frame or rebate dimensions may differ from the glass size required. Plan delivery and safe offloading

Pond glass is heavy. Delivery is kerbside, and you must arrange suitable access, enough capable people and appropriate lifting equipment to offload safely and move the panel to its installation position. Do not rely on the driver to unload it alone.
