Fusion Glass's end cap posts are a popular choice for modern balustrade systems, known for their sleek, minimalist look. Constructed from external grade 316 stainless steel, these posts are durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Standing at 1100mm tall with a 42mm diameter, they feature a brushed satin finish and come with a matching base plate, cover, and glass clamps (2 for end posts, 4 for mid and corner posts). The posts are commonly paired with 10mm toughened glass, though we can accommodate custom heights for a small additional fee.
 
Building regulations require balustrades protecting a drop of 600mm or more to include either a handrail or laminated glass. For these applications, we offer laminated glass options (11.5mm toughened laminate). Our technical team is available to help select the right glass thickness for your installation.
 
Installation is simple with the pre-attached base plates and glass clamps. To secure the posts, raise the base cover and use 4 x M8 fixings. For accurate glass measurements, we recommend installing the posts first and measuring the distance between the inside edges of the end cap posts, then subtracting 40mm for a 20mm gap on each side. The typical glass panel height is 1000mm.
